Privacy policy
What Evolvix collects, why, who helps us run it, and what you can do about it. Plain language, no tracking.
Who this is about
Evolvix is the coaching software your coach uses to work with you. Your coach or their company decides what coaching information they ask of you. Evolvix provides the app and the website and looks after the data on their behalf and yours.
What we collect
Only what the coaching service needs:
- Your name and email address, and the account details to sign you in.
- Health and fitness data: what you log yourself (weight, food, workouts, habits, measurements such as blood pressure and blood glucose) and, if you allow it, data we read from Apple Health or Health Connect: steps, active energy, resting heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), weight, body fat, sleep and sleep stages with your bed and wake times, respiratory rate, blood oxygen, VO2 max and workouts.
- Photos you upload, such as progress pictures, and documents you add.
- Your answers to check-ins and onboarding questions.
- Messages between you and your coach.
- A push notification token for your phone, so reminders and messages can reach you.
Apple Health and Health Connect
Evolvix only reads this data, and only the types listed above. It never writes to Apple Health or Health Connect. Which types Evolvix may read you choose in your phone's settings. What your coach sees of it you choose per coach and per type in Evolvix: steps, energy, sleep, resting heart rate, weight, body fat and workouts are shared by default; recovery data (HRV, sleep stages, breathing, blood oxygen and VO2 max) only once you choose to share it. When you turn a type off, your coach no longer sees the values that came from your health app. What you typed or changed yourself in a check-in stays visible to your coach. You can turn everything off at any time.
How we use it
To run your coaching: show your plan and progress to you and your coach, send notifications you asked for, keep the service secure and fix problems. We do not sell your data, show ads or track you across other apps and websites.
Who can see it
You and the coaches and staff of the companies you work with through Evolvix. Nobody else, unless the law requires it.
Who helps us run Evolvix
These providers process data for us, only to deliver the service:
- Hetzner, which hosts our servers and database.
- Cloudflare R2, which stores uploaded photos and files.
- Resend, which sends emails such as invitations and download links.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging by Google, which delivers push notifications.
Your choices
- Download a copy of your data: in Account, under Your data, request an export. It is usually ready within minutes and the download link stays valid for 24 hours. If you ask us by email instead, we answer within 7 days.
- Delete your account: in Account, under Your data, schedule deletion. Your account and what you logged are deleted 7 days after you ask, and you can cancel until then.
- You can also ask us to correct your data, restrict how we use it, or object to a use. Email us and we reply within 7 days.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. When you delete your account we remove your data from our systems within 7 days. Backups are overwritten on their normal cycle.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to the people who need it, and sign-in goes through a separate identity service.
